YOUTH/ FAMILY PROGRAMS

Kids Night Out

Kids Night Out is a fun night for kids 5-10 years old.  Program will be offered the first Friday of every month during the school year beginning in October.  Each month children will enjoy games, swimming, crafts, food and more.  All kids will need to bring a swim suit and towel.  Space is limited to 30 kids so early

registration is encouraged.

F 7-10pm $6.00* $12.00

*Members who bring a non-member will get that night for free!

 

YMCA/Ottawa Elementary Afterschool Program

Registrations are now being accepted for the YMCA

Afterschool program for the 2017-18  school year.  This state

licensed program, step up to quality, 1star rated will include homework assistance, afterschool snack, creaticw activities and more.

music, afterschool snack and much more.

Program will be held Monday-Friday from 2:30-6:00pm and all day at the Y on scheduled days off of school and snow days.  For more information contact Amanda Schroeder at the YMCA.

 

Camp
YMCA Day Camp is held Monday – Friday from 9:00am-4:00pm with extended care available both before and after camp. Program is open to all kids age 5-12 years old (5 year olds must have completed kindergarten).

Campers will participate in daily activities which is themed around our weekly visitors from the community. YMCA Day Camp is also trying to curve Summer Learning Loss by incorporating Reading and Math in our daily activities.

While participating in camp, campers will need to bring a sack lunch, swim suit, towel and water bottle daily. Campers will also be engaged in physical activities, therefore they need to wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.

 

 

American Red Cross Health and Safety Classes

 Learn Life-saving skills – from the experts!  Each year, an average of more than 9 million people gain the skills they need to prepare for and respond to emergencies through American Red Cross training.Get engaged. Get certified. Get inspired – while learning an important new skill. The Putnam County YMCA offers several course options to meet various training needs, including,

Lifeguarding, CPR, CPR for the Professional Responder and Health Care Provider, First Aid and more. Group training is

also available for companies and organizations.
