Child Watch

Due to COVID-19 Policies may change.

Please call the YMCA with concerns.

NEW: There will now be an electronic Check-In/Check-Out process for the Child Watch room. This will be run from a computer and all parents will be required to walk in and complete this process.

We will also be taking as many pictures as possible in our system to make sure who the adult and the children match who is dropping off and picking up.

Starting, Wednesday, December 26, 2018 there will be an automatic lock on the door. In order to come in to the room one of the staff attendants will have to push a button to unlock the door for you to gain access to the room.

We apologize in advance for an inconveince this may cause as we transition, we are just trying to make our children more secure when they are in the building.

The Putnam County YMCA is a wonderful loving environment that provides children with a strong foundation to grow and learn with confidence and success. We provide high quality child care and education for children ages 1 year through age 8. We welcome and encourage parents and family members to come to the center often to be a part of their child’s learning experience. All children at The Putnam County YMCA are given the opportunity to explore, experiment and create in a safe and nurturing environment.

Child Watch is available for your children ages 1 year up to age 8 while you are attending classes or working out at the Putnam County YMCA.  This service is FREE for members and only $2.00 per child for non-members.  Parents must stay in the facility.
